Express at Global Switch London 2ControlCircle implemented a migration project consisting of 10 x pleach ControlCircle-Spec racks consisting of 14 runs of 24 x pleach Express Preterminated Unshielded Twisted-Pair Cat 6 LSZH loomed copper cable links. This project ran onsite for a single day and faced some unexpected project management obstacles. During delivery and situ of the pleach ControlCircle-Spec Data Centre Racks, the lifts within Global Switch failed due to mechanical problems. CGU insurance decided to upgrade the existing data and voice cabling infrastructure without disrupting normal operations. pleach was successful in winning the sub contract works to refurbish the cabling infrastructure over 12 sites, within a 3-month period. pleach Networks replaced the existing Token Ring cabling infrastructure with an ITT Cannon Category 5e Shielded Solution.
