pleach MaXiimTM provides a complete and accurate view of managing a structured cabling system.
MaXiimTM PVMax Scanners are connected, via scanner attachment cords, to MaXiimTM patch panels and monitor all patch panel connectivity.
In addition to the core scanning functionality, they act as the mediator between the MaXiimTM Control Pad which is used to control the system processes and the MaXiimTM PVMax Master. The Control Pad may be connected, via a RJ45 socket, to any Scanner.
There are two kinds of MaXiimTM PVMax Scanners: 1) Scanner - includes 12 connectors and can support up to 24 panels. 2) Mini Scanner - includes 6 connectors and can support up to 12 panels.
The MaXiimTM PVMax Control Pad is used to control patch cord connection and disconnection to the Scanners. The Control Pad can be connected to any Scanner within the Site / Patching Area.
The Control Pad has three options: Enable, Disabled and Bypass. And a technician can be guided through different processes by the LEDs on the ports of the panels; the LED will either stay lit or blink depending on the activity being performed or required.
